Quick and simple pruning tip - The curved (anvil) blade will bight into the sapwood. To obtain a good health, clean cut, keep the curved blade on the side of the branch that is being discarded. The cutting blade will leave a clean cut on the part of the tree being retained, promoting healthy healing.
